Win a Grant for Your Project

Beginning June 30, 2009, MyEcoProject will award a free web site valued up to $1,000 to help groups committed to the environment gain public awareness for their projects.  

Winners will receive their choice of a professional web site template, installation of a web site content management system, one year’s server hosting fees, and a three-year registration for a domain name for your project.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must have three or more members in your group, a clearly defined mission statement and objective, and a project that has been active on our web site for at least six months. While everyone is eligible, we will give special consideration to projects submitted by youth ages 14 to 18. 

How to Apply

To submit your project, please send a proposal to projects [ at ] myecoproject.org with the following information:

• Your name, phone number, e-mail and mailing address
• The name and the total number of members in your organization
• A brief description of the mission of your organization and the objective of your project
• A 1,000-word description of your project that includes the goals for your project, what makes your project important, how and why your group started it, where the work is occurring, the methods you’re using to conduct the project, how you’re evaluating your project, and the quantifiable results to date
• A 250-word description of how you plan to use the web site and how it will benefit your project

Proposals are reviewed the last day of March, June, September, and December, with winners notified by e-mail.
